About the event
THE CALL TO TEMPLE with Bruce Lyon, Kamala Devi McClure & Dustin DiPerna
“Temple is not just a noun but a verb that requires conscious alive relationship between humans and the earth.”
This is a 10 day soul initiation retreat for modern templars - those called to be living pillars in the temple of a new civilisation. There are many ways ‘to temple’ - co-creating centres or vortex where the energies of earth and cosmos can dance together through awake human beings is one of them.
Temples require a fusion of our spirituality with our sexuality, an integration of our inner and outer, personal and transpersonal. They require a transcendence of ego, gender and all other dualities while at the same time celebrating our unique embodiments and embracing our humanity.
Attendance is by invitation and application only to help us journey with other experienced explorers into the sacred and wild dimensions that can renew the soul of our civilisation. 2020 looks set to be a critical year for the world and particularly America. We will be doing our work in alignment with the greater mysteries of cosmology and an emerging culture of love and freedom more radical than we have known before and that we must discover together.
Some of the principles of soul initiation and the updated teachings of the modern mystery temples will be drawn from the experience of founding the Highden Temple in NZ and the six-week long temple trainings that take place there twice a year. This is a unique opportunity to taste the intimacy and creativity of soul community dedicated to the unfolding of the temple arts in America.
“The temples are not just places of refuge for those fleeing a civilisation in decline or looking for an alternative culture within the prevailing system. They are more radical than that. They are the very breath of the new arriving. They are not a place to retreat but to advance in a new direction; towards the earth. They are landed by free souls who have liberated themselves from the gravity of survival and necessity, yet have come back to kiss the ground, to co-create and listen to that which has been waiting in their own bodies and the earth itself, longing to be met with love and danced in freedom.”
Three highly skilled facilitators will teach, share, inspire, guide and bring light to the darkness in a serene and private retreat location:
Lead Facilitator: Bruce Lyon Facilitator: KamalaDevi McClure Facilitator: Dustin DiPerna Coordinator: Philippe Lewis

"Not only is another world possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing." — Arundhati Roy
Location
Bell Valley is located within Anderson Valley, an area within the Navarro River Watershed. While a popular resting point for people driving to the coast on Hwy 128 along its beautiful winding country roads, Anderson Valley is also a destination of its own – a pristine, sheltered valley surrounded by verdant rolling hills. The small town of Boonville at the heart of the Valley houses many of its residents and reflects a distinctive culture that, in its food, shops and farming practices, embraces the best that both tradition and innovation have to offer us today.
